Who we are
Remora Garage is provided by Circles Capital T Inc ("we", "us"). These terms cover remoragarage.com, the hosted Remora Garage service and the free trial of the downloadable app. The downloadable app's license terms are shown when you install it and apply to it as well.
Your free trial
The trial lasts 30 days and is free. We don't ask for payment details. When it ends, choose a plan or buy a license to keep saving new work. If you don't, your records stay readable and you can export them; we'll email you before we delete a hosted trial shop that was never continued.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep your password and two-step sign-in safe. You decide who in your shop gets an account and what they can do, and you're responsible for what happens under your shop's accounts.
Your data is yours
The customers, vehicles, jobs, invoices and other records you put in Remora Garage belong to you. We use them only to run the service for you and to support you when you ask. You can export them at any time. We don't sell them and don't use them for advertising.
Fair use
Don't use Remora Garage for anything illegal, to send messages your customers didn't agree to, to attack or overload our systems, or to copy, resell or reverse-engineer the software except where the law allows it.
Plans and payment
Hosted plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices on our pricing page when you sign up. The one-time license is paid once. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you. Fees already paid aren't refunded for a partial month, except where the law requires.
Cancelling
Hosted plans are month to month: cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. Export your records before you go; we'll delete a cancelled shop's records after telling you when.
Other services
Email, text messages, payment apps and other outside services you connect have their own terms and may charge their own fees. We aren't responsible for their availability.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Remora Garage available and your records safe, and we improve it over time. We may change or retire features; if a change takes away something you rely on, we'll tell you in advance.
Our responsibility
Remora Garage is provided as it is. It helps you run your shop but isn't tax, legal or accounting advice; check your invoices and tax settings. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't let us limit.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll post the new version here with a new date and email account owners about important changes. Continuing to use Remora Garage after that means you accept them.
